David Livingston is Chief Strategy Officer of Galvanize, a global asset manager investing in energy innovation, resilience, and intelligence. He previously served in two US Presidential administrations: as a senior advisor to the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, under the Biden-Harris administration; and as the inaugural Robert S. Strauss Fellow for Geoeconomics at the Office of the US Trade Representative under the Obama-Biden administration. He is the inaugural Innovation and Sustainability Fellow at the University of Southern California and serves on the advisory councils of Eni Next and Novo Nordisk. Earlier in his career he worked at the Eurasia Group, advised family offices and financial services firms on energy transition investment, and helped establish the clean energy and climate programmes of both the Atlantic Council and the Carnegie Endowment. He holds degrees from USC and the University of Oxford and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
