Location
International attendees
Most international participants will arrive via Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), one of the world’s best-connected and most efficient airports.
Travelling from the airport to the city or CREATE Tower
Some hotels provide shuttles from the airport – please check directly with your chosen hotel for availability, schedules and booking details.
Taxi or ride hailing
Taxis are available at all terminals, with clear signage to taxi stands. Ride-hailing pickups (, , ) are well signposted in the arrival halls via the respective apps.
From the airport to CREATE, travel time is usually 25–35 minutes, depending on traffic, and the estimated cost SGD25–40.
Public transport
Singapore’s public transport network is safe, clean, and efficient. To reach your hotel or CREATE Tower (NUS), you can combine MRT (subway) and bus services.
From Changi Airport MRT (CG2), you can either:
- Take the East West Line (Green) towards Tanah Merah/City and alight at Clementi MRT;
- Or, take the Circle Line (Orange) and alight at Kent Ridge MRT (CC24).
From Clementi or Kent Ridge, you can catch a bus to CREATE Tower as below, or travel onwards to your accommodation.

Participants are responsible for checking and securing their own travel documents, including:
- A valid passport (typically with at least 6 months’ validity from date of entry).
- A visa, if required for their nationality.
- Any additional documents that may be requested by Singapore’s immigration authorities.

How to get to CREATE Tower
Singapore’s public transport network is safe, clean, and efficient. To reach CREATE Tower, you can combine MRT (subway) and bus services. All of the following routes bring you to UTown, part of NUS's campus, where you can then follow campus signage to .
From Buona Vista MRT Station – bus 196
- Walk to the bus stop at Buona Vista MRT Station, near Exit D: Bus Stop No. 11369 (Buona Vista Stn Exit D).
- Board Bus 196 (towards Clementi Interchange).
- Alight 6 stops later at Bus Stop No. 19059 (UTown - RC4).
- Walk approximately 5–8 minutes to UTown.
From Clementi MRT Station – bus 183
- From Clementi MRT Station (Exit B), walk to Clementi Bus Stop, Bus Stop No. 17179 (Clementi Stn Exit B).
- Board bus 183 (towards Jurong East Temp Interchange).
- Alight 3 stops later at Bus Stop No. 17099 (Yale-NUS College).
- Walk approximately 8–10 minutes to UTown.
From Clementi Bus Interchange – bus 96
- From Clementi Bus Interchange (stop No. 17009, Clementi Bus Interchange), board bus 96.
- Alight 3 stops later at Bus Stop No. 17099 (Yale-NUS College).

From Kent Ridge MRT Station – NUS Internal Bus Shuttle
- From Kent Ridge MRT Station (Exit A), walk to Bus Stop No. 18331 (Kent Ridge Stn Exit A/NUH).
- Board NUS Internal Bus Shuttle D2.
- Alight 5 stops later at UTown.
Via Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE)
- Travel along the AYE towards Tuas and exit at Exit 9.
- Turn left onto Clementi Road.
- Turn left onto Kent Ridge Crescent (you will see the University Cultural Centre on your left).
- At the roundabout, turn left onto College Link to proceed towards University Town.
Via Dover Road from Clementi Road
- From Clementi Road, head onto Dover Road.
- Turn right into University Town.
Via Dover Road from North Buona Vista Road
- From North Buona Vista Road, head onto Dover Road.
- Turn left into University Town.

IN-CYPHER conference attendees must arrange their own accommodation.
Our recommended hotels are all located approximately 10–20 minutes from CREATE Tower by taxi or public transport, depending on traffic.
Booking tips:
- Look for hotels with easy access to the East West Line (Green) or Circle Line (Orange) for more convenient public transport to CREATE Tower (stations such as Buona Vista, Clementi, Kent Ridge).
- Hotels are also available in the central city areas such as Orchard and Marina Bay offer a wider range of shopping and dining options, with a slightly longer commute to CREATE Tower.
