The Centre for Climate Finance & Investment (CCFI) promotes innovation in the climate finance ecosystem. We support commercialisation of climate and environmental analytics built on robust science to facilitate the capital markets to respond to global climate change for the public good.
CCFI supports and mentors the student-led Climate Investment Challenge (CIC), a competition that calls on ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ to develop creative financial solutions and innovations to address climate change.
Inspiring Students to Innovate
The Climate Investment Challenge (CIC) brings together postgraduate ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ from leading universities worldwide. The Challenge sits at the intersection of finance, policy, and data science. Participants work in multidisciplinary teams to design and pitch solutions that can unlock capital, improve investment decision-making, and scale climate action across sectors and geographies.
Throughout the process, participants gain access to CCFI’s global network of climate finance practitioners, as well as mentorship, visibility, and opportunities to further develop and scale their solutions. The Challenge not only supports the next generation of climate finance leaders, but also contributes to advancing practical, scalable approaches to mobilising capital for climate-positive outcomes.
