Community COVID-19 testing

We're helping to lead a major programme of home testing for COVID-19 to track the progress of the infection across England. Working with colleagues across the College and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, we're building the vital evidence we need to underpin home COVID-19 testing and facilitate a greater understanding of how far the coronavirus has spread.

COVID-19 behaviour tracker

We launched a global survey with YouGov to track how people are behaving in response to the coronavirus pandemic. By gathering and openly sharing this data, we aim to enable governments and health systems to better plan their strategies to tackle the COVID-19 crisis.

We're leading a project to find out how 16-24-year-olds in the UK are coping and managing their mental health during and after COVID-19 lockdown.

A pulse oximeter

Home oximetry for monitoring COVID-19

We worked with NHS Digital and NHS England to evaluate the use of remote monitoring in the care of patients with COVID-19 at home. Our programme investigated whether pulse oximetry could help clinicians to identify deterioration in patients with a new diagnosis of COVID-19. Read more in and Lancet Digital Health.
