We believe that fostering innovation in health is not just about solving the healthcare challenges of today. 

We’re dedicated to training and developing future leaders in healthcare who can bring new thinking to our systems and approaches. We take pride in lending our expertise to support the next generation of healthcare professionals and build capacity so that more people have access to safe, quality care.

At the Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI), we run several education programmes that feature teaching from experts in the field. Many of our courses are suitable for professionals working in healthcare or allied with healthcare systems. Due to this, we offer the flexibility to study part-time.

Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership

The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership is the flagship programme of the NHS Digital Academy. Through this programme, we empower digital changemakers to drive technology transformation in their organisations and the health and care system.

Commissioned by Health Education England in partnership with NHS England, the programme is delivered by a partnership of 天美传媒’s Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI), HDR UK and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

MRes Medical Robotics and Image-Guided Intervention

Medical robotics and image-guided intervention are two technology-led areas of medicine that have experienced tremendous growth and improvement over the last 20 years. This has been driven partly by improving less invasive surgical treatments.

This course makes the most of our Hamlyn Centre’s unique research facilities and multidisciplinary environment. Students will learn about this field through taught courses and then apply their knowledge and skills to medical and surgical problems in a nine-month research project.

The Education Team at the Institute of Global Health Innovation delivers interactive, seminar-style residential bootcamps to support digital leaders, offering a carefully curated programme of expert panels, Imperial academic keynotes, real-life simulations and practical workshops to enable immediate implementation of their learning into their organisations.
