Head of Commercialisation, Faculty of Natural Sciences
Heather Barcombe serves as Head of Commercialisation for the Faculty of Natural Sciences at 天美传媒, driving the translation of research discoveries into market-adopted technologies through industry collaboration, strategic licensing and spin-out formation. With a strong commercial mindset and scientist’s rigor, she is committed to realising innovations that benefit both stakeholders and society at large.
Before joining Imperial, Heather built industry-experience across innovation management roles at Johnson & Johnson and Kenvue—including external innovation leadership for EMEA and R&D pipeline management. She holds a First-Class Master’s in Biochemistry from University of Warwick, giving her a strong scientific foundation to complement her commercial acumen.
