The School of Convergence Science is excited to announce this special event, which will be hosted by Professor Mary Ryan FREng CBE, Vice-Provost (Research and Enterprise).

Marking the start of our five-year partnership with Thomson Reuters, the launch event will bring together a panel of distinguished figures from government, the justice system, research and technical communities for a cross-sector conversation on the future of AI.Ìý

Introductory remarks will be delivered by Steve Hasker, President and CEO of Thomson Reuters, alongside the Lab’s leadership team.

About the Lab

The Thomson Reuters-Imperial Frontier AI Research Lab is the first strategic partnership with Imperial’sÌýSchool of Convergence Science. The joint lab will pursue world-leading academic research in AI, focusing on foundational challenges in safety and reliability, advancing frontier AI capabilities, and researching the technology’s broader societal and economic impact.
