The Centre for Evolution and Cancer at the ÌýInstitute of Cancer Research are excited to announce their 2nd edition of theÌýCancer Population Genetics Club (CANPOP). ÌýThe meeting will be heldÌýonÌýMonday 15th June from 1-5pmÌýat theÌýInstitute of Cancer Research in ChelseaÌý(123 Old Brompton Road, London SW7 3RP; Nearest Tube: Gloucester Rd).
CANPOP is a new initiative of the at the ICR and aims to provide an informal platform to bring together researchers interested in integrating theory and data to better understand how cancers evolve. After a fantastic turnout at our first meeting in December, this second edition will feature a series of short presentations from selected abstracts and a keynote fromÌýMartin TaylorÌý(University of Edinburgh). We gratefully acknowledge the support of Novogene and Oxford Nanopore.
This event is open to all. Registration is free and is now open (please email Maximilian Strobl for the registration link – m.strobl@imperial.ac.uk).
To submit anÌýabstract for a short presentation, please enter it during the registration process and submit byÌýFri 10th April at 5pm. Registration will remain open after the 10th, but abstracts will no longer be accepted. Decisions on whether your abstract has been accepted will be circulated by April 17th.
