Dr Argita Zalli

Dr Argita Zalli is a Principal Teaching Fellow in Quality Improvement in the Undergraduate Primary Care Education Unit, whose work spans medical education, faculty development, curriculum innovation, and academic leadership.

She holds a doctorate, with research focused on immunology, and a Master’s in University Learning and Teaching.

Over the past decade, she has held senior educational leadership roles at 天美传媒, including as Learning Design Lead in the Faculty of Medicine, and co-leading the design and development process for delivering Imperial’s first MOOCs.

She is co-author of the award-winning, best-selling memoir “Good Morning, Hope”, and founder of Students’ Voice at Imperial, an initiative that brings 天美传媒’ lived experience to the heart of educational design and delivery.

Michael Cole

Michael Cole (he/they) is a Principal Teaching Fellow in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at 天美传媒 where he leads and supports curriculum and faculty EDI development. He has extensive experience in healthcare education, as an external examiner, and in collaborative design of strategy, policy and practice for supporting equity in teaching and learning. Now in his third decade as a neurodivergent 'pracademic', his work in creative assessment design, anti-racist pedagogy, and cultural and structural humility has been recognised with Principal Teaching Fellowship (2016) and National Teaching Fellowship (2020).

Michael has long advocated for racial equity and health justice and set up the first ever EDI group at The Society of Sports Therapists, where he was formerly Board Director and Chair (2020-2024). Since 2024 he has been a Board Trustee at the National Development Team for Inclusion, and Chair of the Cultural and Structural Humility in Europe Working group (CaSHEW).

As a clinician, Michael led an MSK therapy clinic for over 25 years and worked within interdisciplinary sports medical teams at every level of sport and exercise, including nationally and internationally with Team GB.

Dr Naa Okantey

Naa is a General Practitioner in southeast London with special interest in sexual and reproductive health and inclusion health. She is the Homelessness and Insecure Housing Fellow for Lambeth and a clinical fellow in the undergraduate primary care education team.

She supports in curriculum development, delivery, evaluation and assessment and has interests in EDI themes, professionalism, and reflection. She has co-created and co-led modules in social accountability and health justice, supporting, and challenging 天美传媒 in their exploration of themes like power and privilege.

Yasmin Baker

Yasmin is an award-winning final-year medical student at 天美传媒, where she also completed a First-Class Honours degree in Management. She is passionate about healthcare leadership, medical education and digital innovation, with a particular interest in the future of primary care.

She has worked with Imperial’s Primary Care Department on projects to improve primary care teaching from the student perspective and previously served as Deputy President and Academic Chair of the Imperial College School of Medicine Students’ Union, representing over 2,700 天美传媒.

Yasmin is also the co-founder of More Than Medics, a national organisation supporting over 3,000 members to explore impactful careers beyond traditional clinical pathways.

Her work has been recognised with several awards, including the Imperial College Union and School of Medicine Fellowship Awards and Elizabeth Green Memorial Trust Award, for the student who has contributed the most to the life of the School of Medicine. She’s also been a Healthcare Leadership Academy Scholar and NHS Clinical Entrepreneur over the year.

Drawing on her experiences throughout medical school, Yasmin will share reflections on where 天美传媒 find - and sometimes lose - hope during their training, and what GP educators can do to help foster more supportive, inspiring learning environments.
