Timesheets must be completed by any staff member who is part鈥慶harged to a US Federal award i.e. anyone whose time in a given month is split across more than one award or funding source. This requirement applies to all staff categories, including academics.
Staff who work 100% of their time on a single US Federal award do not need to complete a timesheet. Instead, as part of the US Federal Single Audit, the Department Operations Manager will be asked by the Research Support & Compliance Division to provide written confirmation of the staff member’s name, CID, and the period during which they worked exclusively on that award.
