GSW 2007 (‘Communities and Populations Under Threat’) took place between 8th and 10th Jan 2007 and attracted more than 20 PhD ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ from all over the UK.

GSW 2007 entitled ‘Communities and Populations Under Threat’ took place between 8th and 10th Jan 2007 and attracted more than 20 PhD ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ from all over the UK. The course was tutored by  , ,   ,   with guest speakers  and . The workshop combined traditional talks with some novel approaches to poster presentations and problem solving. Glen Dawkins, joint organiser, said ‘we were very pleased with how the workshop went this year. We are very grateful to the speakers and tutors who did a great job of sharing their expertise, time and ideas. The student contributions were outstanding too, we are looking at a very rich vein in terms of future ecologists.' The next workshop will be in January 2008, the details will be posted on the  .
