ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½'s Department of Computing is proud to share the outstanding achievement of St Paul's Girls' School in the prestigious . Competing against entries from around the globe, the team of five girls secured a place among the top 10 winners in the world. 

's remarkable success can be attributed to their year-long dedication in developing an innovative app that was nurtured through the school’s Tech Elective program and mentoring from ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ postgraduate computing ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½. The Tech Elective program provides school pupils with the opportunity to work with experts from Imperial to explore technology and transform their ideas into reality, fostering innovation. 

One crucial aspect of SoySquad's achievement can be attributed to the guidance and mentorship provided by , PhD student in the Department of Computing. Nihir has been instrumental in shaping the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½' understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) over the past two years and he has played a pivotal role in empowering the team and nurturing their talent. 

The recognition garnered by SoySquad at the Microsoft Imagine Cup Junior 2023 reflects not only their individual achievements but also highlights the importance of initiatives that promote girls' involvement in STEM fields.
