Imperial is launching a new scholarship programme for international ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ studying the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Dozens of scholarships will be awarded to talented ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ who take up places at Imperial in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences, and the Imperial College Business School. 

The International Baccalaureate Excellence Scholarships – which will be up to £3,000 per year for the duration of studies – will be awarded to ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ who achieve academic excellence in their diploma programme. 

Vice President (International) Professor Maggie Dallman said: “Imperial is home to an international community where ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ thrive and become the leaders of the future in science, technology and business. 

“Our ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ are making significant impacts on the world, from founding startups, to working on global health, artificial intelligence and climate change, to developing innovative technologies and products. 
 
“These new scholarships will enable ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ to broaden their experiences and networks while studying at one of the world’s best universities."

Imperial was recently ranked as the as the  in the QS World University Rankings. 

The College was also  by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. 

Earlier this year Imperial was  for world-class research by the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and  in recognition of our staff's response to COVID-19. 
 
Imperial is also one of the most international universities in the world, with more than 60 per cent of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ coming from overseas.
