ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½

The rescheduled PECDT Annual Symposium was finally held online 21 Jan when we all got together to celebrate the achievements of our stellar ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.

We were all disappointed that at the last moment we had to postpone our in-person PECDT Annual Symposium and Christmas Party, but we were able to reschedule for an online event.

As initially planned, we will had talks from Cohort 10, invited speakers: Dr Joe Briscoe and Prof Sandrine Heutz and CDT alumni: Dr Ryley Ratnasingham, Lokeshwari Mohan, Joel Luke and Matyas Daboczi.

As the event was online, we were able to extend the invitation to CPE members and external advisory board members.

The Annual Symposium is a highlight of our year, being an important opportunity to learn about our PhD ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’ research, as well as hear the stories of our alumni after their PhD. 

We also awarded many prizes for our ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½' successes:

• PECDT Paper of the Year £100 Lokeshwari Mohan
• PECDT Thesis of the Year £100 Joel Luke
• PECDT Leadership and Engagement £50 Liam Harnett 

• Joint Cohort 10 Best Talk £50 Chiara Labanti and Ijeoma Patrick
