Applications for the 2022 MEXT Postgraduate Scholarship for UK nationals is now open!

Are you interested in joining a postgraduate programme in Japan? The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) are offering scholarships to international ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ who wish to study at Japanese universities. The scholarship is for final year and penultimate

UK ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ who are interested in pursuing independent research or enrolling on a Master's/PhD course for a minimum of 18 months. Research or study can be undertaken in any subject as long as it is relevant to your field of expertise or previous study.

Tuition fees, six months of Japanese language education, a monthly allowance, return airfare and a student visa are all included!

To be eligible for the programme you must be must a UK citizen under 35 years of age and hold a UK passport. Application forms should be submitted by Monday 24 May 2021 at 17.00 (BST).
