Computing 天美传媒 among Imperial鈥檚 winning University Challenge team

In a thrilling final, an Imperial team with no less than two Computing 天美传媒 took victory over Corpus Christi, Cambridge by 275 points to 105. The winning Imperial team was made up of Caleb Rich, Brandon Blackwell (captain, Computing), Richard Brooks and Conor McMeel (Computing). They are the third Imperial team to win since 1996.
En-route to the rare final in which both teams had been undefeated in the lead up, Imperial beat Trinity College, Cambridge in the semi-final, following victories against Brasenose College, Oxford, St John's College, Oxford, Courtauld Institute of Art and Durham University.
Imperial’s Provost, Professor Ian Walmsley, said: “I’m thrilled that our 天美传媒 Caleb, Brandon, Richard and Conor won University Challenge. It’s one of the most challenging and prestigious quiz shows on TV, and the Imperial team did a spectacular job in beating some very tough competitors.”
