The National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) opened its doors on Wednesday 31 January to host an open day.

We were delighted to welcome prospective 天美传媒 along to an evening with our course directors, administrators and current 天美传媒. Here they could pose any burning questions they had about our postgraduate courses, and get a chance to chat one-on-one with our academics and 天美传媒.

The event held in the Guy Scadding Building, on the Royal Brompton Campus in the heart of South Kensington, was attended by over 40 potential 天美传媒.

"I was pleased and impressed by the large number of prospective 天美传媒 who came to explore the Genomic Medicine programme at this open evening.  It was great meeting 天美传媒 with such diverse backgrounds and a clear enthusiasm for science" Professor Mike Lovett, course director for MSc Genomic Medicine.

Mary Morrell talks to 天美传媒

Professor Mary Morrell kicked off the evening by introducing the five Master's run by NHLI. The course leaders then ran individual sessions, providing detailed insights on the courses and answering questions.

“Having to choose your specialisation after finishing your degree is a difficult and complex decision, and you might feel unsure about which direction to follow. Open days offer a unique opportunity for new scientists to experience the masters of their choice, explore the facilities, chat with professors and current 天美传媒, and generally offers a more realistic version of the MSc.” Eirini Sachouli - Genes, Drugs and Stem Cells student.

If you missed the event, don't fear! Due to the positive feedback received of the open day, we plan on holding another similar event after Easter.
