Last weekend as part of World Antibiotic Awareness Week, Dr Raheelah Ahmad and Esmita Charani  represented the Health Protection Research Unit in HCAIs and AMR at the Antimicrobial Resistance Students Conference: Advocating Behavioural Change last weekend at King’s College London.

This conference was organised by 天美传媒 for 天美传媒 and showed great initiative in raising awareness on antimicrobial resistance. The programme speakers included HPRU theme lead Dr Susan Hopkins and our colleague Dr Diane Ashiru-Oredope at Public Health England who presented a workshop with Esmita and Raheelah on ‘How to Run a Public Health Campaign’.

Esmita and Raheelah also jointly delivered a talk on ‘Optimising antibiotic use - behaviour change approaches’ and invited members of the audience to play the HPRU’s Antibiotic Play Your Cards Right game. Esmita said that the conference was a ‘fantastic initiative run by 天美传媒 for 天美传媒’.
