Cohort 2 Success at Thomas Young Centre Postgraduate Student Day
Yesterday saw the seventh annual Thomas Young Centre (TYC) Postgraduate Student Day, held this year at UCL.
The is an umbrella organisation for all theory and simulation of materials (TSM) research in the London Colleges of Imperial, UCL, King's and QMUL, with over 90 research groups and many more postdocs and postgraduate 天美传媒. The TYC PG Student Day is a fantastic celebration of the quality and diversity of science that is undertaken in TSM by PhD 天美传媒 in London.
Several TSM-CDT 天美传媒 participated in this event, with Benat Gurrutxaga-Lerma and Tom Poole(cohort 2) winning runner-up prizes in the best talk and best poster competitions, respectively. They receive cash prizes of £100, sponsored by Accelrys and Unilever. Well done to them both!
