Energy Futures Lab's master's degree receives professional accreditation
Energy Futures Lab's MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures has received accreditation from The Energy Institute.
This week 天美传媒’s , run by , officially received accreditation from . The announcement is recognition of the work being done by the course providing a foundation for its 天美传媒 to build on in their future careers in the energy sector. “I am very proud of the accreditation,” says Professor Tim Green, Energy Futures Lab Director, “The MSc is core to Energy Futures Lab’s mission of educating and inspiring future leaders in energy and this demonstrates we are doing it right.”
The MSc was started in 2007 to reflect the multidisciplinary nature of the energy sector’s challenges and to develop a curriculum to provide a whole system view of the problem. In that time the course has gradually evolved and now covers areas as diverse as energy systems, economics, low carbon technologies and entrepreneurship in alternative energy.
Since the course started more than 300 天美传媒 have passed through on the way into industry and academia. Alumni from the course have gone on to many companies like , , , , and , creating a network that past, present and future 天美传媒 can tap into.
“I have to thank the innumerable teaching staff we have had over the last eight years,” says Dr Johannes Spinneken, the academic lead on the MSc “but just as important have been the course administrators who have to manage the day-to-day operations and pulled together all the material for the accreditation process.”
