Professor David Ewins, Senior Research Fellow in the Dynamics Group has been awarded the highly prestigious 2015 ASME JP Den Hartog Award

Professor David Ewins, has been awarded the 2015 ASME JP Den Hartog Award for “outstanding educational and research activities in the area of vibration testing and turbo machinery analysis and for efforts to bring about an integration of experimental, mechanical and theoretical methods”.  The ASME JP Den Hartog Award was established by the Design Engineering Division in 1987 and operated as a division award until 2010 when it was elevated to a ASME Society Award.  The formal presentation of the award will take place in August in Boston, Massachusetts.
