The intensive two week course, taking place from 22 June to 3 July, will see 天美传媒 from both institutions working fulltime in groups of 5-6 with a dedicated research supervisor to develop their projects. The theme to explore through the research projects this year is ‘Social Change in London’ and there are 20 places available.

Professor Debra Humphris, Vice Provost (Education) at Imperial said: “As very distinctive institutions with very different subject knowledge this is a fantastic opportunity for Imperial and LSE 天美传媒 to bring their different expertise and perspectives together and learn from each other.”

The project will be based at the LSE’s campus in the City of Westminster with a mid- project event taking place at Imperial on the 26th June where the groups will come together and present the progress they’ve made with their projects.

LSE's Dr Claire Gordon said: "“It’s great to have Imperial scientists joining LSE’s social scientists for this group research programme exploring Social Change in London. We are really looking forward to the new ways of thinking and approaches to research which the Imperial 天美传媒 will bring.”

“LSE/Imperial GROUPS is a great chance for 天美传媒 from different disciplinary backgrounds to come together to develop their own research question around a key theme. I look forward to seeing what exciting things the teams come up with as part of this new collaboration between LSE and Imperial College.”
