Two new PhD ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ (Lola and Wouter), two MSci and one BSc project ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ (Peter, Nico and Si Jia) and an MRes student (Alex) join the group.

Wouter and Lola join the group as PhD ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½:

Wouter Mooij. Wouter joined the group in October 2014 after completing an MSci in Drug Discovery and Safety at . His PhD research is focused on the development of novel chemical probes to investigate the metabolism and mode of action of fungicides. He is co-supervised by Prof. , Dr.  and Dr. Andy Coran ().

Ololade Adeniji. Lola joined the group in October 2014 after completing an MSc in Chemical Biology and Drug Design at the . Her PhD research is focused on the development of novel chemical probes to investigate the metabolism and mode of action of insecticides. She is co-supervised by Prof. , Dr.  and Dr. Miriam Daniels ().

Si Jia, Peter and Nico join the group as UG research project ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½:

Si Jia Lee. Si Jia joined the group in October 2014. She is currently working on the synthesis of a novel atropisomeric pyridine-N-oxide catalyst for the Kinetic Resolution of amines by sulfonylation as her final year BSc research project.

Shuyue Peter Zhang. Peter joined the group in October 2014 as a 4th year Masters student at Imperial. He is currently working on the enantioselctive total synthesis of lophirone H via Prins cyclsation for his final year MSci research project

Nico Fessner. Nico joined the group in October 2014. He is currently working on the investigation into the enantioselective synthesis of phosphorothioate oligonucleotides for antisense applications as his final year MSci research project.

...and Alex joins the group as an MRes student:

Alex Smalley. Alex joined the group in October 2014 after completing a BSc (Hons.) degree in Medicinal Chemistry at the . He is currently working on the investigation into the enantioselective synthesis of phosphorothioate oligonucleotides for antisense applications as his research project towards an MRes in Drug Design and Discovery.
