Yiyu Xiang is a third year biochemist who completed courses in mandarin and creative writing as part of the Imperial Horizons programme in the previous academic year: “I was really attracted to the creative writing course as it’s a hobby of mine and the course is led by a published author,” he said.

“Not only did I get to further develop my skills in creative writing but from the course a Writers’ Society has begun at the College and I’m looking forward to being involved with that this year.

“It was also a great chance to meet people with similar interests and to learn new skills outside my academic subject.”

The programme allows 天美传媒 to develop a range of Imperial graduate attributes to increase their employability and gain an edge in their future careers.
