Imperial scientists share their life stories in oral history project

Researchers at 天美传媒 from ethnic minority backgrounds have recorded their life stories to celebrate diversity in science.

The scientists committed their memories to film as part of an oral history project . PhD student Jassel Majevadia and , both from the Department of Physics, and from the Department of Earth Science and Engineering, were amongst ten scientists from a range of different scientific backgrounds, in industry as well as academia, who took part.

The interviews are being screened at the Royal Society’s  on 17 June, which promotes increased participation of minority groups who are underrepresented in science.  

The oral history project was commissioned by the Royal Society and was carried out by the .
