Congratulations to Emma Bowen who completed her PhD viva on 26 April. The title of her thesis was: In Situ Biological Denitrification of Groundwater for Potable Supply: A Laboratory Microcosm Study of Water Quality and Biofouling, supervised by . Emma will travel to the Sezchwan Province of China early in May to take up a challenging postdoctoral position at Chong Qing University to establish a groundwater monitoring and sampling programme. We wish Emma the best of luck and success during her stay in China.
