30 universities have now attended two workshops on Student Led Projects schemes, hosted by Alison Ahearn. The universities appear to see the S-Led Projects as serving HEFCE requirements on Access Agreements; Research Council requirements on public engagement; student experience league tables strategies; employability skills development and as possible means of serving the Bologna extra credit requirements. Alison is a HE STEM 'custodian of good practice' and Imperial is considered the national leader on sophisticated student projects. Anyone wishing to discuss potential projects is welcome to contact Alison.
