Activities that can address wider challenges include medical applications, sensor and accelerator development, high-throughput digital electronics, use of big data and advanced statistical and analysis techniques. To facilitate participation in such activities, as well as providing a route of access to this expertise by external bodies we have founded the dedicated HEP-X tech venture.
