Who is this course for?

All those who are not complete beginners but have not yet reached the next level.

You have learned some basic German before, but it has been quite a while? Perhaps you have attended a Beginners’ course recently but would like to revise, consolidate, and practice? If yes, this course could be the perfect fit.

Unless taking our German courses in sequence, we recommend contacting us for a free language level check prior to enrolment to ensure correct placement.

Course overview

Our aim is to help reinforce the basics already learned, expand on that knowledge, and help boost your confidence in speaking.

We will start by expanding on previously learned ways to talk about ourselves, our hobbies and our families, as well as developing both the grammar and vocabulary to order food and drink, describe past events, and talk about sightseeing and holidays.

The sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, encouraging interaction and active participation.

Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given before or in the first class.

Course term dates

•  Autumn Term: week beginning 12 October 2026 until week ending 11 December 2026

•  Spring Term: week beginning 4 January 2027 until week ending 19 March 2027
