The Black Postdoctoral Network, established in November 2021, supports, champions and raises the visibility of Imperial's Black Postdoctoral Researchers and Research Fellows.
The network aims to:
- support Black postdocs and fellows through networking, career development and personal growth opportunities
- raise the profile of Black researchers and academics by engaging with university-wide committees, support services and visibility campaigns
- build a network of Black researchers across the academic pipeline - by collaborating with Imperial's Black Doctoral Network and supporting initiatives that address progression barriers
We host regular online meet-ups and in-person events, alongside an annual symposium.
