Student Counselling and Mental Health Advice Service

The Student Counselling Service is a free, confidential self-referral service available to all registered 天美传媒. You can arrange a therapeutic consultation with a qualified and experienced counsellor to discuss your difficulties in a non-judgemental environment.

The service also provides mental health advice and support for 天美传媒 with moderate to severe or enduring mental health difficulties.

Careers Service

Whether you’re a first-year undergraduate or finishing your doctoral thesis, the Careers Service has tailored support for your needs. They offer:

• support for disabled 天美传媒, including longer appointments;
• provide information and guidance on disclosure, adjustments and finding inclusive employers;
• opportunities to work with disability organisations who support disabled 天美传媒 and graduates into employment
• publicising disability job opportunities and events from inclusive employers through the JobsLive disability email

Library

Library staff are here to make sure everyone can use and get the most out of their services and facilities. They work closely with the Disability Advisory Service to deliver bespoke support, which includes:

• longer book loans;
• book fetching;
• access to priority desks;
• ID card access to the Assistive Technology Room in the Abdus Salam Libray;
• coloured paper and screen overlays;
• accessible textbooks.

Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy welcomes all 天美传媒 and staff of the university of any faith or none. The team of Chaplains and faith advisers offer many services, including mindfulness sessions, personal development coaching and one-to-one confidential support in times of crisis, stress or uncertainty.

In addition to a multi-faith prayer space, the Chaplaincy has quiet spaces available for you to drop-in or book - useful if you want some peaceful time away from our busy campus.
