The Organising Committee is delighted to invite abstract submissions for the London Surgical Symposium 2026, bringing together clinicians, researchers, trainees, and allied healthcare professionals to showcase innovation and excellence across the surgical sciences.

The symposium will provide a multidisciplinary forum highlighting cutting-edge research, translational science, surgical innovation, education, quality improvement, and advances in perioperative and critical care.

We welcome submissions from medical ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, trainees, nurses, allied health professionals, scientists, and consultants across all surgical specialties.

Themes

Abstracts are invited across all areas of surgery and perioperative medicine, including but not limited to:

• Translational surgical research
• Surgical oncology
• Minimally invasive and robotic surgery
• Perioperative medicine
• Critical care and enhanced recovery
• Surgical innovation and medical technology
• Artificial intelligence and digital surgery
• Clinical trials and experimental medicine
• Quality improvement and patient safety
• Surgical education and simulation
• Global surgery
• Implementation science and healthcare systems research

Accepted abstracts will be selected for either:

• Oral presentation
• Rapid-fire e-poster presentation

Mansfield Prizes

The Mansfield Prize will be awarded to both the highest scoring oral presentation and e-poster.
