Chemical Kitchen is a collaborative project. Much of what we do grew out of conversations with colleagues who wondered whether the approach might work for their 天美传媒. We are always glad to start new ones.

There is no single way to get involved. Depending on what interests you, that might mean:

  • Adapting the model to your discipline: we co-design a "Kitchen"-style course for your 天美传媒, as we have with colleagues in Medicine, Medical Biosciences and Mechanical Engineering. We provide the teaching framework, facilitator training and access to the facility.
  • Research and co-authoring: we collaborate on evaluating practical and simulation-based teaching, and have supported several colleagues through their first education-research papers.
  • Using the facility: run your teaching, outreach, events or science communication in the Chemical Kitchen.
  • Outreach and public engagement: bring the kitchen to prospective 天美传媒, schools and the public.

Chemical Kitchen also connects to the wider education and food-systems work at Imperial, including the Centre for Chemistry Education, the , and Imperial's Lifelong Learning programmes.

If any of this is of interest, or if you have an idea we haven't thought of, please contact Dr Jakub Radzikowski (j.radzikowski@imperial.ac.uk).
